Price isn't the same as margin

What you charge for a service and what it actually costs you to deliver are two different numbers. This tool attaches real products to a service and works out how much of each is used, so you can see the true margin behind the price — not just guess at it.

Add the products a service uses

Open a service's cost estimate and add the products it consumes — a bandage, a vial, whatever's genuinely used up when this service is performed.

Say how much of it is used

For each product, choose how its use is measured: a specific quantity (2 units), a value (half a bottle by volume), or a percentage of the product. ClinyPal works out the cost of that portion using the product's own cost price.

Read the result

Once your consumables are added, the estimate shows the total cost, the margin in your currency, and the margin as a percentage of the service's price — the real number behind what you charge.

Keeping it accurate

This is only as accurate as each product's cost price. If a supplier's price changes, update the product's cost price and every service using it recalculates automatically.
