Create a case

Choose New case

Enter a specific title and optional description.

Choose the type

Use the case type that matches the care or funding arrangement.

Set limits when they apply

Enter a maximum number of appointments and/or maximum invoiceable amount. Leave a limit empty when it does not apply.

Save and review

Confirm the case summary and remaining usage.

Close or reopen a case

Select the case

Review linked activity and limits first.

Choose Close

Confirm when the course of care should no longer be selected for new work.

Reopen if care resumes

Select the closed case and choose Reopen. Recheck its limits before using it again.

Things worth knowing

  • A limit helps staff monitor the case; it should reflect the actual agreement or care plan.
  • Invoices can show a case and its appointment or invoice-value usage when one is selected.
